Sahil Panjwani is a research assistant at the Digital Manufacturing and Design (DManD) research centre at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). His current research activities broadly lie in the design and development of smart soft-composite actuators and microfabrication using multimaterial 3D printing.
Prior to joining SUTD, Sahil was affiliated with Nanyang Technological University as a research assistant, where he was awarded a research scholarship. He then worked in the domain of biomechanical engineering with an emphasis on modelling, simulation, and optimisation of the design of artificial heart valves for paediatric surgery at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Sahil holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. His research interests span computer-aided engineering, digital fabrication, and robotics.
