PR and Marketing Manager
Carly Kroll is the PR and marketing manager, Americas, at Ubimax Inc. She works daily creating written content about augmented reality in industrial processes.
Her previous experience in the field of AR dealt primarily with improving technology acceptance of augmented reality among utility workers through the use of infographics and communication methods. She has written for groups such as the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Association of Equipment Manufactures (AEM) and the Augmented Reality for Enterprise Alliance (AREA).
Carly’s diverse background includes education, theater, research, agriculture, and communications. She is passionate about emerging technologies and their effects on the workforce.
Carly’s speaking experience reflects her theatrical background and her previous career as both a public-school teacher and professor. She has presented on topics of AR in utility and manufacturing at EPRI’s Energy and Environment Conference 2018 and Saint-Gobain’s North American Manufacturing Summit 2018.
Carly holds a Master’s in Education from National Louis University, and a Master’s in Communication Technology from Marquette University. She is based out of a virtual office from her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
