This presentation will cover all the aspects of why a growing manufacturer should consider financing their purchases as opposed to pulling money from their working capital. It will include a discussion from both logistical as well as a taxation perspective. I will also cover how to get prepared for a discussion with a potential lender i.e. what they look at and why, the process, along with industry standards for term and structure. Lastly I will talk about asset based lending, a very relevant topic because equipment by its very nature is expensive and in many cases the potential buyer does not fit the transaction size on paper even when it makes perfect sense in the real world, essentially a strategy on how to get deals approved and done.
