Mayu Jeyakumar is an accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in the Aerospace industry. Throughout his career, he has played pivotal roles in the successful launch and operation of all five Global 7500 flight test vehicles (FTV1-FTV5). Beginning as the Electrical and Avionics Lead and later advancing into aircraft functional testing, Mayu has consistently demonstrated his commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety, performance and testing.
Today, as the Operations Strategic Manager at Bombardier's Toronto site, his responsibilities encompass strategic planning, Learning curve management, workforce administration, budget allocation, and driving digital transformation initiatives. In recognition of his forward-thinking approach, Mayu represents the Toronto site alongside Darren Solman as part of Bombardier's esteemed Innovation Council. In this role, he actively contributes to shaping and executing innovation strategies within the organization.
Mayu holds a Honors in Bachelor’s of Manufacturing Engineering Technology & Management, specializing in Vehicle Engineering Design from McMaster University. Building upon this technical foundation, he also holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University's - Graduate School of Business & Economics |Downtown Toronto Executive Campus| . His journey reflects a blend of technical excellence and strategic vision, to drive innovation and sustainable growth within the aerospace sector.
