John Thompson has the title of Sales Development Representative for Cimatron Technologies. Starting almost 4 decades ago as an apprentice, his experience in the tool manufacturing industry spans from design to project management to applications and software implementation. John’s career has touched many different sectors of manufacturing including aerospace, fixture and gauge, mould, tool and die and part production. Along the way, his passion for implementing technology has been the driving force. While Cimatron has represented the bulk of his employment, several tool and die shops in the KW and Cambridge areas have contributed to his diverse experience. Added to that, a decade of time with Mazak, DMG Mori and EMEC Machine Tools has brought another dimension to his experience portfolio.
