Reza Rashidi Far

Reza (PhD ’05) has a passion in making autonomous vehicles a reality. His expertise is in perception and machine learning, sensors, and data fusion. He was instrumental in developing perception solutions for AD applications with LeddarTech, where he is now working on roadmap and strategic projects planning and execution. Reza was with Magna Electronics, ADAS Features Development, before joining LeddarTech, leading the OD team. Before joining Magna in 2015, Reza was in the aerospace industry for 8 years working for the Canadian Space Agency, GlobeVision, and CAE. He worked on developing the first HiL simulator for the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner”. Reza has developed and helped deploying algorithms and perception modules running on different platforms, running multi-modal data from LiDARs, cameras, spectrometers, radars, and ultrasonic sensors, in both aerospace and automotive industry.
