Mr. Gingras has a MBA and he graduated in electrical engineering from Laval University. François Gingras began his career in high technology as engineer at Nortel Networks. From several years Mr. Gingras worked for the food industry at Biscuits Leclerc Group as Project Manager. More specifically, he was actively involved as Director of engineering between 2005 and 2015, giving him a strong professional experience in planning and management of material, financial and human resources.
During his professional career, François Gingras developed his managerial skills from the realization of settlements and expansion of factories, the development and the implementation of guidance technology and strategic business planning to design and financial management of major investment projects in Quebec, Ontario and United States. Successive accomplishments led him to develop his leadership and his ability to mobilize its resources.
As he lived in different provinces of Canada and the United States over the last years, Mr. Gingras has a good knowledge of the Canadian and American markets and he knows the reality of cultural and economic markets. He also acquired an expertise in negotiating and purchasing equipment with international suppliers.
Francois Gingras joined the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ) in August 2015 as Director of Productivity and Industrial Systems direction.
