Students are invited to discover and explore the world of advanced manufacturing and a brand new learning experience at CMTS 2017.
Students will explore exhibits of advanced technologies, talk with industry experts, see the latest manufacturing innovations, and meet university students studying advanced manufacturing careers. An exciting tour stop for students is to compete in the Rippl3D additive manufacturing challenge hands-on student activity.
Explore the physics of rocket flight by making a 3D printed rocket. Choose from an assortment of pre-printed rocket parts: nose cone, body, and tail fins. Use challenge.rippl3d.com software and MakerGear 3D printers to create custom tail fins that you’ll add to a pre-printed rocket nose and body.
All students are invited to test their rockets in our air power test area at CMTS!
