Andrew Sweeting

Andrew Sweeting has more than 25 years of experience in the CNC machining industry.  He started his career as a CNC machine operator in his uncle's shop, completed his Red Seal General Machinist apprenticeship, and in 2018 moved to the machine tool sales side of the business by accepting a position at Mazak Canada. In 2019 he was promoted to the Applications Engineering Manager for Mazak Canada.  Andrew is an accomplished people manager who leads his team with compassion and care and is committed to continuous training and skills enhancement. Following marketplace trends, Andrew has worked to shift the focus of products and services that his team can offer to be productivity and efficiency oriented.  By utilizing Industry 4.0 tools, customers can have a clear idea of where their inefficiencies lie, and how best to address them.
